How the Thin Adapted System™ (TAS™) Can Impact Hormones

Can this way of eating have a negative impact on your hormones?

The short answer is that how the Thinlicious™ lifestyle affects your body (and thus your hormones) will likely only be found with trial and error. Our bodies are complex organisms and we all react to foods a little differently. And our hormones all respond a little bit different and some are more sensitive than others. So being in tune with your body is really, really important.

This is one of the reasons we are such big advocates for testing your blood sugar and ultimately being in tune with your body is so that you can tell how your body responds to certain foods.

So the answer is...you're just going to have to test it. You're going to have to figure out what works well for you

Journaling is a really great way to help you keep track and analyze how certain foods are affecting you and your body. Write down what you eat each day and how you felt.

And while it can sound a little overwhelming we recommend practicing a mindset shift—taking a more positive approach— this is you being excited to take control of your life and your health and jumping in head first to figure it all out. Be excited about creating health and wellness for yourself instead of being upset that something isn't working. Know that you can take back that power armed with knowledge and data. You know yourself best!

And if you have to tweak the plans just a little bit to work for you and your body, just know that is completely ok too!

For 99% of you, if you cut out sugar and refined carbohydrates and literally do nothing else, you will lose weight and our plan will work—for the other 1%, you may have to make some adjustments until your find what works best.
